Doc Ford’s Sanibel is known as the “Home of the Island Mojito.” They are people creative enough to embrace an entirely different kind of sports bar concept, a rum bar!
Also, if you’re hoping to run into Randy Wayne White, then this is the place to do it as he can be found writing here on many nights. He is the author of Sanibel Flats, whose main character is this restaurant’s namesake, the fictional Doc Ford.
A trip to Sanibel isn’t complete without lunch or dinner at Doc Ford’s!
Look for Casper, our black cat mascot, tucked under the bushes taking an afternoon catnap purrhaps from imbibing in some mojitos! He's the sign of an authentic Cat's Meow...and did you know we offer more famous and not-so-famous replicas across the US and world. Check out the rest of our product listing.
